Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo Spotted on Outing with Newborn Son

Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo were spotted enjoying a warm-weather outing with their newborn son.

On May 25th, photos surfaced online showing Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo taking a walk with their son at Misari Lake Park in Hanam City. The photos show Hong Sang-soo and Kim Min-hee strolling along the lakeside, carrying their baby, who is just a month old. Kim Min-hee is seen holding the baby, while Hong Sang-soo is pictured smiling brightly as he puts a hat on his son’s face. A middle-aged woman is also seen accompanying the couple.

It appears the photos were taken while they were walking with the baby in a stroller before picking him up to carry. News of Kim Min-hee’s delivery was first reported on May 9th. She gave birth to a son at a maternity hospital in Gyeonggi Province and has been recovering at a postpartum care center.

Following reports of Kim Min-hee’s pregnancy in January and subsequent news of her delivery, the release of photos showing her holding her baby has garnered significant attention.

Kim Min-hee and Hong Sang-soo have been in a relationship for ten years since the 2015 release of the film "Right Now, Wrong Then." They publicly acknowledged their relationship as "lovers" at the press conference for the film "On the Beach at Night Alone" in 2017. Hong Sang-soo lost his divorce lawsuit in 2019 and remains married.

Kim Min-hee, born in 1982, became a mother at the age of forty-three. Hong Sang-soo, who has a grown-up daughter with his wife, has welcomed his first son with Kim Min-hee.
