ISEGYE IDOL to Make a Comeback with 4th Album ‘Misty Rainbow’
Virtual girl group ISEGYE IDOL is set to make a comeback with their 4th album, ‘Misty Rainbow.’ This marks their first full album release in two years since their 3rd album ‘KIDDING’ in 2023.
The six-member virtual girl group (Aine, Jingburger, Lilpa, Jururu, Gosegu, and Bihan) will be releasing their new single, ‘Misty Rainbow,’ on all music platforms, including Genie Music, at 6 PM on April 25th. The title track, ‘Misty Rainbow,’ is a rock-genre song with a cheerful band sound, delivering a message of encouragement from ISEGYE IDOL.
Having debuted in 2021 and grown into a leading virtual girl group, ISEGYE IDOL garnered attention from the start. Following the success of their debut song ‘RE : WIND,’ they continued active music promotions with songs like ‘Winter Spring,’ ‘LOCK DOWN,’ and ‘KIDDING.’ They are also well-known for their webtoons ‘Magical Girl ISEGYE IDOL’ and ‘Beyond the Dimension ISEGYE IDOL.’
The webtoons have surpassed 10 million views, and the funding for their single-edition books and special official merchandise reached nearly 8.8 billion won, setting a record for the largest amount of funding in Korean crowdfunding history. ISEGYE IDOL has established themselves as artists who are creating a world where virtual and physical realities converge through their activities in music, webtoons, and music festivals.
Genie Music, which is distributing ISEGYE IDOL’s 4th album ‘Misty Rainbow,’ formed a business partnership with Parable Entertainment, ISEGYE IDOL’s agency, last year and is continuously working together to expand the virtual artist business. The two companies plan to jointly carry out various virtual artist projects, including album releases, pop-up stores, and festivals, through continued collaboration.
