The K-pop group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) has announced their comeback with their 5th full album, ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY,’ and unveiled a detailed promotion schedule.
On April 29th at 10 PM KST, SEVENTEEN released the promotion scheduler for ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ on their official social media channels, officially kicking off the countdown to their comeback. According to the schedule, SEVENTEEN will release concept photos and films for ‘NEW ESCAPE,’ ‘NEW MYSELF,’ and ‘NEW BURSTDAY’ versions on May 1st, 5th, and 8th, respectively. The tracklist will be revealed on May 13th, followed by a highlight medley on May 16th, and two official teasers on May 23rd and 24th. The new album and the music video for the title track will be unveiled on May 26th at 6 PM KST, coinciding with the group’s 10th debut anniversary.
Notably, a three-day ‘B-DAY PARTY’ event will be held from May 23rd to 25th. This includes the ‘BURST Stage’ performance on May 25th at the Jamsu Bridge in Seoul, along with a grand celebration to commemorate SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary. The scheduler also includes the phrase “and more to come,” further raising anticipation among fans worldwide for additional announcements. In addition, a special episode of the group’s popular self-produced content series, ‘Going SEVENTEEN,’ will return on May 21st.
Innovative promotional strategies are also drawing attention. Three videos have been released depicting the perspective of ‘CARAT’ (the fandom name) receiving a party invitation from SEVENTEEN and heading to the designated location, enhancing immersion. Curiosity is building about what scenes will unfold before those who arrive at the party venue.
