Group 82MAJOR (82MAJOR · Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-gyun) will release their second single 'HEAT' on September 1 at 6 p.m. on online music platforms. This single is expected to garner anticipation by including the title track, B-side tracks, a Spanish version of an existing song, and a remix track.

The title track 'Like Fire' continues the narrative of their previous song 'Sign' and features composer Yoon Ye-chan. The B-side track 'How Are You Today (wyd?)' lists Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, and Yoon Ye-chan as lyricists and composers, with Yoon Ye-chan also handling arrangement.

This single also includes 'TROPHY (Spanish Ver.)' and 'Sign (Viann Remix)' remixed by producer VIANN. 'TROPHY (Spanish Ver.)' is a track that reimagines the original song in Spanish.

82MAJOR previously set their own record for highest first-week sales with their fifth mini-album 'FEELM'. The title track 'Sign' ranked ninth on Billboard's list of 'Top 25 K-Pop Songs of 2026'.

Following this, 82MAJOR won awards at the Weibo International Entertainment Awards, Asia Culture Festival 2026, KMA 2026, and 2026 K-Wave Dream Awards. They also completed solo concerts in Hong Kong and Bangkok, fan concerts in Seoul and Macau, and a fan meeting in Shanghai.

82MAJOR will hold a live event to commemorate the release of their second single 'HEAT' on September 2 at 8 p.m. at Cheonggye Plaza, Gwanghwamun, Seoul. Key content from this comeback live, held in collaboration with KPOPCON's '1ST DROP', will be announced later through official global K-Pop platform KPOPCON's social media channels.
